1999 Ltd Ed US Open at Pinehurst No. 2 5th Hole AP Signed by Artist Linda Hartough 79/85 with COA
The 1999 US Open will be remembered as being Payne Stewart's third Major championship and final victory before his untimely death. Stewart would win by one stroke over Phil Mickelson at Pinehurst No. 2. Here we have a limited edition #79/85 artists proof signed by Linda Hartough commemorating the 5th hole at Pinehurst. This print measures 31" x 20 1/2", is not framed, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Linda Hartough is recognized as one of golf's leading artists, her attention to detail and incredibly realistic style earning her quite a prominent following. She is the only artist ever commissioned by the USGA and the R & A to do the official annual paintings and prints for their respective Open Championships. She has captured the beauty of golf courses across the globe and her works have a home in prestigious clubs like Augusta and Pine Valley, and in the personal collections of legends like Jack Nicklaus and Robert Trent Jones.
