1997 PGA Championship at Winged Foot Contestant Badge - Davis Love III Winner

Here is a contestant badge from Davis Love III's PGA Championship that took place in 1997 at Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, New York. Love won it for his late father, with a rainbow forming at the 18th green and a sizable lead over second place Justin Leonard. Love is a well respected player on the tour and always has been, captaining the most recent victorious US Ryder Cup team. The badge is in very good condition, with no blemishes to speak of. This piece will come with a signed letter from Historian Bob Denney of the PGA, proclaiming that this item comes from their collection.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
