1997 Memorial Tournament Book Signed by Honoree Gary Player
This signed limited edition Memorial book from the Jack Nicklaus Memorial PGA Tournament is in great condition. Each year it is themed around a person who has contributed to the game of golf. Selecting honorees was Nicklaus' idea as a contribution to perpetuating achievements of the games' greatest individuals. One of the games' highest honors was started with the origin of the tournament in 1976 when Bobby Jones was the first honoree. In 1997, Gary Player (The greatest International Player of all-time, and one of only five Grand Slam winners) was named the Memorial Tournament Honoree. He has signed this limited edition #116/200 book nicely in black sharpie.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
