1996 US Amateur Championship Pumpkin Ridge Bag Tag - Tiger Win
Fans in the gallery that week witnessed a 20-year old phenom that went by 'Tiger,' and his fist pump. Tiger Woods capped his record setting amateur career with his third straight United States Amateur Championship when he claimed the victory in 1996 at Pumpkin Ridge. Programs and tickets from the US Amateur with far less crowds attending this Championship are printed in far shorter print runs in comparison to major tournaments, with bag tags that were for purchase in the gift shop obtained at a much lower quantity. One year later Woods would win his first major at Augusta National and quickly become an international sensation.
