1995 Ryder Cup at Oak Hill Team Europe & Captain Signed Full Size Golf Bag
¡Seve! ¡Seve! A swan song for one of the greatest Ryder Cup players on either side of the competition Seve Ballesteros, the European Team made sure that 1995 didn't get away from them. The entire group including captain Bernard Gallacher's pictures of Faldo and Woosnam signed the white leather of this featured European Team bag in uniform blue sharpie including a full signature of Seve Ballesteros. The roster of signers in addition to Seve Ballesteros includes World Golf Hall of Famers Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie and many other Ryder Cup stars. The international matches were held at the Oak Hill Country Club in Pittsford, New York, and it saw The European team win the competition by a slim margin of 14½ to 13½ points to win back the Cup after two straight US Team victories. Sourced from The Doug Sanders Museum Collection is this Complete 1995 USA Ryder Cup Team & Captain Signed Ltd Ed Ryder Cup at Oak Hill Full Size Golf Bag JSA ALOA, originally obtained through Sanders' connections and celebrity status as a staple in golf for over two decades. The 20-time PGA Tour winner Doug Sanders was picked as a member of the 1967 Ryder Cup Team and obtained the nickname "The Peacock of the Fairways" with his colorful wardrobe. With friends in high places, a typical pro-am tournament field Sanders took part in might have consisted of names such as George H.W. Bush, Neil Armstrong and Willie Nelson. A large number of items that Doug collected over his playing career and thereafter are on display at The Doug Sanders Museum. Sharing in the joy of collecting, the generated funds from this sale will help benefit the Doug Sanders Museum. Each lot will have its OWN COUNTDOWN CLOCK set for a 30-minute interval, and the clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will automatically close at 10pm ET
