Payne Stewart defeated Scott Simpson in a Monday playoff to claim the 1991 US Open at Hazeltine. Offered here is a limited edition #39/85 Linda Hartough artists proof commemorating the 16th hole at Hazeltine. The print measures 31" x 20 1/2" and is not framed.
Linda Hartough is recognized as one of golf's leading artists, her attention to detail and incredibly realistic style earning her quite a prominent following. She is the only artist ever commissioned by the USGA and the R & A to do the official annual paintings and prints for their respective Open Championships. She has captured the beauty of golf courses across the globe and her works have a home in prestigious clubs like Augusta and Pine Valley, and in the personal collections of legends like Jack Nicklaus and Robert Trent Jones.
