1972 PGA Championship Plate - Oakland Hills
Measuring in at 10" diameter in size. We are not sure if this plate was a gift to VIP's, or actually sold in the merchandise tent/pro shop at Oakland Hills. Normally when these sell in the merchandise tent they are pewter plates and this one with different composition and detailed border etching is much nicer then the norm. First one we have auctioned from the 1972 P.G.A. Championship won by Gary Player just outside Detroit at Oakland Hills Country Club..
