1967 US Open Championship at Baltusrol GC FINAL ROUND Grounds Ticket #1963 - Nicklaus Win
Jack Nicklaus shot a final round 65 on June 18th, 1967 and recorded a Championship record low of 275 for the four rounds. The '67 Open also saw the last time that Ben Hogan would compete in a major. Nicklaus would go on to win the US Open at Baltusrol again in 1980, setting a new low of 272. Once $7.00, this final round ticket used to enter the gates at Baltusrol Golf Club in Spingfield, New Jersey. Many of those with tickets that day saw the conclusion they were hoping to see. A Coca-Cola swing sequence advertisement was printed on the reverse with the slogan "For the Taste You Never Get Tired of." This accurately described Jack's career, as his 18th win might have even been the sweetest.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
**If extended bidding goes pass midnight ET, The Golf Auction reserves the right to close the auction at any time. We recommend bidders place their maximum bids prior to that time. Thank you**
