1967 United Golfers Association Program (African American Golfers Tour)

Offered in this lot for bidders is a program to the 1967 United Golfers Association's Annual Tournament held at Miami Springs and LeJeune Golf Courses. The United Golfers Association was founded in 1925 or 1926, when the US was still in a state of racial segregation. This allowed African American golfers to play on their own tour. It dwindled out in the 1960's when the bylaw of the PGA that stated it was made only for "members of the Caucasian race" was repealed. This is a seldom seen piece in good condition for any collection.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on Sunday, April 9th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
