1966 Masters Tournament Thursday Ticket #3199

This 3 1/2" diameter one day final Thursday round ticket comes from the 1966 Masters won by Jack Nicklaus for his third title at the Augusta National. Ticket does present hole punch which was standard for admission with tickets in that time frame. This one would be a beauty to have a Nicklaus black sharpie autograph on with its green background and heavy stock of paper. With the inception of 'series' plastic badges at the 1961 Masters, the paper tickets were issued only on a daily basis in subsequent years. These are seen in far shorter numbers then their plastic counterparts, but sure do present a great surface for an autograph.
