1963 Ryder Cup Matches at East Lake Country Club Umbrella
Featured in this lot is a 1963 Ryder Cup Matches at East Lake Country Club Umbrella with a canopy constructed of red, white and purple panels. With the welcomed color contrast of red printing on a white panel, the Ryder Cup logo and East Lake are written. Arnold Palmer in his first Ryder Cup action debuted in style as playing Captain leading his team to the second-largest victory margin in Ryder Cup history, 23 to 9. With this umbrella's utility and age closing in on 60 years, there are is some slight discoloring to be expected. With that being said it is in excellent condition and fully functional, not missing any stretchers or ribs.
