1963 PGA Championship Program Signed by Jack Nicklaus

Jack Nicklaus at the 1963 PGA Championship not only defeated the field of top professionals and the challenging Dallas Athletic Club's Blue Course, he also overcame temperatures over 100 degrees on Championship Sunday. It was so hot when Nicklaus received the Wanamaker champions trophy he had to use a towel to protect his hands from the scalding metal. The triumph was his first of five PGA Championship wins in a career that would total 18 Major wins. The program from this Nicklaus victory is offered in excellent condition with spine strongly intact. Nicklaus completes this must have collectible with a black sharpie autograph which has been well positioned on the front cover. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the autograph of Nicklaus contained in this lot, and their letter of authenticity will come to the winning bidder.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on September 27th with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
