1962 Masters Tournament Concession Badge - Arnold Palmer Victory

The last two Masters plastic badges to sell in The Golf Auction have sold for $1,630.70 and $1,599.65. At less then 10% of the cost of a 1962 Masters plastic badge. You would have horse sense to bid on this undervalued Masters collectible. These metal badges were produced in far shorter numbers then their plastic counterparts. This 1962 badge which has belonged to its original owner never leaving the Augusta area until this auction appears in Near Mint condition free from surface scratches, and was for admittance to work the Concessions area. Measuring at 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" this badge remains complete and intact. It is hoped that it's original owner at least got away from his job to watch a little golf as Arnold Palmer sure put on a show at this Masters in winning his third green jacket.
