The 1960 Tournament marked the first year for the Desert Classic this event was the forerunner of the Bob Hope Desert Classic. It was the start of a great association with Arnold Palmer. The "King" would win the inaugural event in 1960, the first of his five championships in the Desert Classic. This win was Palmer's first of the 1960 campaign which saw him go on to notch eight wins that season including the Masters and US Open on his way to setting a season record for money won on the PGA tour at $75,262.85. This guest badge comes from the Mangrum family collection, and will be accompanied by letter from his heirs. It is interesting to note that parts of the graphics from that first season's badge were still being used at the event 50 years later.

Extended bidding at 7 PM EST on Sunday 4/11 and will close that evening. If you have any questions please call 813-340-6179
