1959 'The Open' at Winged Foot Periscope - Patron Viewing Aid

Winged Foot Golf Club in New York has been a familiar host to the US Open, as it has held the tournament in 1929, 1959,1974, 1984, 2006 and next year in 2020. Here is a periscope from the course to help the attendees of a US Open get a better look over the crowd at the action. Winged Foot was home to a significant Bobby Jones victory, when it 1929 he conquered the field at the US Open. As a common occurence, there is a rip in both sides of the periscope , as well as the front. These blemishes leave the periscope in fair condition. It stands 16" by 4" by 3 1/4."

AUCTION CLOSING RULES:

This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, June 16th (Father's Day) with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
