1959 US Open at Winged Foot Golf Club Ticket #623
Winged Foot has been the setting for many memorable tournaments over the years. Buffalo Billy Casper won the 1959 US Open held at Winged Foot Golf Club, in Mamaroneck, N.Y. The 1959 win was Casper’s first of two US Open wins, his second being in 1966. In addition to Casper’s two US Open victories he was also the Masters Champion in 1970 and following his career he was elected to The World Golf hall of Fame. Up for auction here is 1959 US Open Championship at Winged Foot GC 1st Round June 11th Grounds Ticket #623 from the Casper Win. There is a pen mark on front and some paper loss on reverse. Very good condition.
