1959 US Open at Winged Foot Contestant Badge - Billy Casper Winner
Offered here is a 1959 United States Open contestants badge comprised of metal measuring 1 1/8"x 1 1/4" which is accented to this day by stunning red enamel against a gold overall appearance presented on this badge with "PLAYER" designation on its facing side. Raising from the metal on this side also are the important particulars of this event including "USGA", "1959", and "OPEN GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP". The reverse of this badge, from the 1959 Championship won by Billy Casper at Winged Foot Golf Club, still carries it's original pin clasp in working fashion on this near mint example.
