1959 The Walker Cup at Muirfield Official Program with Order of Play Sheet - Jack Nicklaus
In May of 1959, Jack Nicklaus traveled as a 19-year-old Ohio State Freshman to Scotland with the United States team to compete in the Walker Cup matches against Great Britain, held at the fast playing Muirfield. U.S. team member Harvie Ward always up for a good time gave each of his teammates nicknames with Nicklaus carrying the tag "Snow White", Ward did not let up on himself carrying the nickname ("E. Mickey Mouse"). The relaxed mood around the team carried through to victory in what many call the finest U.S. squad assembled. Nicklaus was 2-0-0 winning in foursomes and easily winning a singles match 5 & 4. This lot features a 1959 The Walker Cup at Muirfield Official Program with Order of Play Sheet

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
