1959 PGA Championship Program at Minneapolis GC Signed by Bob Rosburg

A "traffic jam" developed on opening day as nine players shared the lead with 69s. Jerry Barber shot a record 65 the next day to take the 36-hole lead. He stayed on top after 54 holes with a 71. However, the 33-year old Bob Rosburg fired a final round 66 to finish with 277, one stroke better then Barber, who tied Doug Sanders for second. Rosburg who had come from six strokes back to win the Championship has signed the cover of this 1959 program from his only Major win. James Spence Authentication has reviewed the signature of Rosburg, and their letter of authenticity will come with this lot. Publication which is complete with strong spinal binding scores a solid excellent grading when it comes to condition.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on August 2nd with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
