1958 Masters Tournament Thursday Ticket #476 - Arnold Palmer Winner
Here we have a Thursday ticket #476 from the 1958 Masters. Arnold Palmer eagled the 13th hole on Sunday to claim the first of his four Masters wins over Doug Ford and Fred Hawkins. This was also the tournament where after slight controversy over scoring on the 12th hole for Palmer, Herbert Warren Wind of Sports Illustrated dubbed the 11th, 12th, and 13th holes "Amen Corner" in his article about the tournament. The original string is intact and the ticket presents in excellent condition.
