1958 Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St. Annes Programme - Peter Thomson Winner
The 1958 Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St. Annes saw Peter Thomson continue his Open dominance, as he went on to win his fourth Claret Jug in five years. Offered here is a program from the tournament, in excellent condition. It would take a 36-hole playoff for Thomson, who beat Dave Thomas in the first playoff at the Open since 1949. This marked the seventh consecutive Open Championship that Thomson finished as champion or runner-up.
