1958 Augusta National Golf Club Masters Player Tournament Invitation - Arnold Palmer Winner
Arnold Palmer won the first of his four Green Jackets by pacing the field remaining ahead of runners-up Doug Ford and Fred Hawkins in 1958. Offered here is one of the invitation from Augusta National to be a contestant in the 1958 Masters Tournament, it remains 60 years later in near mint condition. Of the invitations issued 86 were accepted by players to participate in the 1958 Masters. Arnie will always be remembered as one of the greatest golfers of all time, his charitable endeavors and conviction with which he played the game left a lasting mark on the golf world. Very seldom seen offering from the start of Palmer's major championship run in the late fifties and early sixties.
