1956 US Amateur at Knollwood CC Contestant Badge - Harvie Ward Winner
Harvie Ward is best known for his amateur career. He won both the U.S. Amateur (twice) and the British Amateur Championship. Ward turned professional and became an instructor in 1974, lending his knowledge to a young Payne Stewart. Here we have a contestant's badge from the 1956 US Amateur at Knollwood that measures 1 1/8" x 1 1/4".
