1954 Masters Thursday Ticket - Snead Victory
The ever popular 1954 Masters ticket measures 2 3/4" x 4 3/4". It gave patrons the oppotunity to watch the main event which was the battle between Ben Hogan and Sam Snead. In '54 it was "The Slammer" who was victorious, claiming his third and final Masters title. This speciman is noteworthy for its clarity and depth of printing color on its black ink, some 60 years after its pressing. Surface creasing is apparent on both front and back with evidence that it has been worn on the hollowed grounds of the Augusta National. Still, the scarce survivor of patron wear demonstrates minimally Ex overall condition.
