1954 Masters Awarded Eagle Hole #2 Crystal Highball Glass - Frank Stranahan - First Such Awarded

Along with other traditions such as the Crystal Vase for the low score of the day, Hole-In-One, and a Double Eagle; the Stubben Crystal Highball Glasses are given to a competitor who succeeds in scoring an eagle on any one of the holes at Augusta National during the Masters Tournament. This crystal is in exceptional condition for a glass that was awarded during the 1954 year, the first year the Augusta National presented these glasses of achievement. The year was 1954, the golfer was Frank Stranahan, and when he eagled hole #2 it was most likely the first time the Augusta National was called on to present crystal to a player recording an eagle on his card. Words can not sum up how scarce these are in the golf collecting world, and to have the first of its kind is a momentous opportunity presented. This treasured glass of Masters achievement measures in at 3" diameter and 6 3/8" tall. A portion of the Frank Stranahan collection proceeds will be donated to The First Tee of Lake Erie.

In order to bid in extended bidding you must place a bid on the lot before 9pm on auction closing day.
