1953 US Open Championship at Oakmont Program - Ben Hogan Victory

The 1953 season marked Hogan's most dominate year of his career. His victory in the 1953 Open was also dominate with Hogan firing an opening round 67 to establish a lead he held from start to finish as the only player to better par for the 72 holes (-5) posting a six shot win over second place finisher Sam Snead. The win at Oakmont in 1953 marked Hogan's fourth and final U.S. Open triumph. This significant Hogan win program is very clean(free from rips and tears, with strong spine binding, all pages intact)example of the 1953 U.S. Open program. A strong ex-mint copy that we reach for a flaw on. Only mentioning slight wear areas with minor surface creases on cover for accuracy. No U.S. Open, or Hogan collection is complete without this cornerstone item present.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on September 27th with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
