1953 Open Championship Week Badge - Carnoustie - #847 Ben Hogan Winner
Ben Hogan would win his one and only Open Championship during the 1953 season, and it was at the infamous Carnoustie Golf Club. A 9x Major Champion, Hogan would claim his 1st Claret Jug by a margin of 4 strokes over the four runner-up finishers. This week badge is in excellent condition with it's original string still intact. A fine example from one of Bantam Ben's great victories, his only Claret Jug. Badge measures 1 3/4" x 2 1/2"
