1952 US Open at Northwood Club Friday Ticket #2457 with Original String - 6/13/1952
Here is another hard to find U.S. Open ticket from almost 70 years ago. The condition of this ticket is excellent as seen in the photos. This Friday - 2nd round ticket is as nice as they come and complete with the original string. Held at Northwood Club in Dallas, TX, the 52nd US Open was won by Julius Boros. The 1952 victory was “Old Man Rivers” first of two US Open wins. He followed up with a victory in 1963. The Hall of Famer also won a PGA title in 1968 at the age of 48.
