1951 Masters Tournament Sunday Ticket #1861 - Ben Hogan Winner
Here we have a Sunday ticket #1861 from the 1951 Masters. When play began that Sunday, Ben Hogan found himself down by one stroke to Skee Riegel and Sam Snead. Hogan shot a final round of 68 to overtake Riegel by two strokes and claim his first Masters victory. Hogan had previously finished second twice at the Masters before claiming his green jacket. The original string is missing from the ticket, and some paper loss appears on the front top left corner and on the back near the top. This is only the second 1951 Masters ticket The Golf Auction has offered, and the first in three years.
