1950 PGA Championship Program at Scioto CC Signed by Winner Chandler Harper
Chandler Harper's seven win PGA career was highlighted when he won the 1950 PGA Championship defeating Henry William, Jr. 4 and 3 in the final. In that match Harper won the first hole and never lost the lead over the 33 holes the match lasted. He reached the final the hard way, too beating two Hall of Famers in Jimmy Demaret, 2 and 1, in the semifinal and Lloyd Mangrum, 1 up, in the quarterfinal. This program grades a solid excellent condition with EX/MT interior. The cover has been center signed by the champion Chandler Harper in strong black sharpie. James Spence Authentication (JSA) provides this lot with a letter of authenticity on this Harper signature
