1950 Ben Hogan Open at Phoenix Country Club Program (Phoenix Open) - Jimmy Demaret Winner
Also accompanying the program is the Sunday pairings and starting times, also 3 note papers 'from the desk of Ben Hogan'. Although the program cover appears to show the Phoenix Open being renamed the Ben Hogan Open, that in fact was true! For one year only the name was change to The Ben Hogan Open. After winning back to back Phoenix Opens in 1946 & 1947, then runner-up in 1949, it only seemed proper to name the tournament after Bantam Ben who had been so dominant. Jimmy Demaret, who had defeated Hogan the previous year, prevailed against Sam Snead for his own back-to-back victory.
