1950 Masters Sunday Ticket

This marks the first 1950 Masters ticket The Golf Auction has offered. We've had 1949's and 1951's, heck we've even had a couple 1934's but this is the first 1950. It's a nice one with string attached, what you look for, the higher valued final round Sunday ticket. Let's get out of the way the few minor flaws this blazer of a ticket exhibits. First two minimal creases one on left side of ticket, and one in the middle of the bottom portion. Reverse also shows a dime size area of paper loss. These items are mentioned only to nitpick the piece for accuracy, as the high grade Masters ticket collector who wins this stunning example will do. Now for the historical side of the evaluation. The 1950 Masters saw Jimmy Demaret win his third Masters Championship(1940, 47). In his triumph in '50, Demaret became the first three-time winner at Augusta. Only Palmer, Nicklaus and Woods ever notched more. Our first offered, may be the best condition one we ever have.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on September 28th with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
