1950 Masters Spectator Guide

One of the great innovations to come out of the Masters Tournament is the Spectator Guide which the Augusta National began providing their patrons in the late 1940's. From the collection of a long time publications collector who has always prided himself on the high quality of his pubs, this near-mint example with strong binding screams Masters history. Contained in the Spec Guide you will find the thoughts of Bobby Jones on the event which was his brainchild, along with a detailed history of the Masters happenings and results. This item ranks as the oldest Masters spectator guide that we at The Golf Auction have ever offered. The spectator guide run is a staple of Masters collecting similar to tickets/badges, and the early examples like this 1950 are not easier to locate.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on November 16th with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
