1949 US Open at Medinah Official Tournament Scorecard
Cary Middlecoff with brilliant second and third rounds of 67 and 69 over the tough layout of Medinah's Number three course just outside Chicago, Illinois saw his large lead be challenged over the final fourth round by Clayton Haefner and Sam Snead. Though challenged, Middlecoff held on for a one stroke margin of victory over both his pursuers. This lot features an official scorecard from the 1949 US Open in excellent condition with only some discoloration.
