1949 US Amateur Championship at Oak Hill CC Program & Pairing Sheet - Charles Coe Winner
The four men who reached the semifinals of the 1949 U.S. Amateur were champion Charlie Coe, Rufus King, future World Golf Hall of Fame inductee Bill Campbell and two-time Amateur champion Willie Turnesa. Others in the field included future Hall of Fame inductees Julius Boros and Joe Carr, and future major tournament winners Dow Finsterwald and Gay Brewer. There was also a 19-year-old kid from Latrobe, Pa. named Arnold Palmer, who lost in the third round to Crawford Rainwater by 4-and-3. This program displays well, with vibrant color and the Oak Hill Country Club clubhouse on display. The program remains in very good condition and is accompanied by a pairing sheet and additional tournament paperwork.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
