1949 Masters Tournament Sunday Ticket #4792 - Sam Snead Winner
Here we have a Sunday ticket #4792 to the 1949 Masters. Sam Snead was five strokes behind the leader entering the weekend rounds until posting back-to-back rounds of 67 to go on to win the tournament by three strokes over Lloyd Mangrum and Johnny Bulla. This was Snead's first win at Augusta National Golf Club, but wouldn't be his last. He would later win the Masters in 1952 and 1954 for three of his seven career Major championships. The ticket is in excellent condition with the original string attached and only slight wear to the bottom left corner.
