1949 Masters Series Ticket - Sam Snead's First Masters Victory
1949 Masters ticket comes in the shape of an octagon resembling a stop sign, it is interesting to note that this ticket is the only one between 1948-51 that was printed in yellow and not red. This ticket numbered 1068 measures 3 1/2" by 3 1/2". Top portion of ticket has minor surface creasing and top loop of ticket is missing. Reverse is free from creasing but does have areas of paper and glue present. The above condition information is provided for accuracy as 1940's Masters Series tickets are prized items in whatever condition they can be found. Combine this with the 1949 historical significance of that year's Masters being Snead's first Masters triumph and the first ever presentation of a green jacket to a Masters champion and you have a winning item.
Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on June 21st with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
