1948 Masters Tournament Series Badge #1151 - Claude Harmon Winner

This series badge was on the scene when Claude Harmon became the only player not on the regular PGA tour to ever win the Masters. In the process Harmon tied the then low score for the Masters with 279. His margin of victory over Cary Middlecoff, in second place, was 5 shots, and this stood as a record until 1955 when Middlecoff won by 7. This was also the last Masters that Bobby Jones played in. The string is missing and there is some paper loss on reverse, otherwise in good condition and ready for display. The above condition information is provided for accuracy as 1940's Masters Series tickets are prized items in whatever condition they can be found. So difficult to locate, the ticket in this offering is the only 1948 Series ticket The Golf Auction has seen. Please don't miss this opportunity, we don't know when it will come around again.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on Sunday, March 12th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
