1947 US Amateur at Del Monte G&CC Contestant Badge #119 - Skee Riegel Winner
Here we have a contestant's badge from the 1947 US Amateur. Robert "Skee" Riegel won the tournament at Pebble Beach, beating Johnny Dawson, 2 and 1. Riegel played on the Walker Cup teams of 1947 and 1949 and finished in second place at the 1951 Masters to Ben Hogan. The badge measures 1 1/8" x 1 1/4" and would shine nicely in any collection.
