1947 The Vale of Leven Golf Club Official Handbook by Robert H.K. Browning

Esteemed Scotish golf writer Robert H.K. Browning with a focus on the game's history, served as editor of 'Golfing' British golfing periodical from 1910 until 1955. His major claim his the publication that he wrote under the title 'A History of Golf.' Receiving praise from the top, Herbert Warren Win was quoted as describing it as '...far and away the finest one-volume history of golf."

Browning wrote this 1947 The Vale of Leven Golf Club Official Handbook. Established in 1907, the club is located in Alexandria, Scotland and is known for its "breath taking views of Loch Lomond, Ben Lamond and he stunning vista of the Lamond hills." This handbook contains pictures of the scenic holes, advertising for different companies in the area and other information about the historic club.
