1937 U.S. Amateur Program - Johnny Goodman Victory

With match play not changing to stroke play for another 30 years, Johnny Goodman took down Billows with 2 up to win the 1937 US Amateur Championship. Goodman is also recognized as the last amateur to win the US Open, and that was back in 1933. Fully intact program does present with traditional center crease from folding, and placement in the breast pocket of suit coat. You know the age of this gem, when was the last time you saw a crowd at a sporting event decked out in suits? Many, many generations ago. Extreme limited production run on this 1930's United States Golf Association Amateur program.
