This contestants pin is in 1 1/4" diameter and was crafted by "M. Pudlin Co. Inc. 286 5TH AVE. N.Y.C." has listed on its original manufacturers paper on the back of the button. Original curricular pin is intact on button back,but does show wear around the edges of circle. Front of button is free from scratches and scrapes. Lettering on button is simple block letters "United States Golf Association", "1936 Open Championship", Qualifying Rounds" which reverses out of a yellow field. If you advanced out of qualifying you ran into two tough tasks at the 1936 US Open, the Baltusrol Golf Club and Tony Manero with both being unyielding.
