1934 PGA Championship at Park Country Club Wednesday Ticket - Paul Runyan Winner
This offering contains the 1934 PGA Championship at Park Country Club Wednesday Ticket once used by a spectator to gain admittance to the tournament in Williamsville, New York. Paul Runyan completed the first of two PGA Championship victories, conquering Craig Wood in 38 hole finals of the then match-play event. A Check for $1,000 was made out to Paul Runyan for his success at the tournament.
Runyan, in his Hall of Fame career, won 29 times on the PGA Tour highlighted by PGA Championship wins in 1934 and '38. His game was so acclaimed in the 1930's that he was paired with Bobby Jones in 1934 for the first 36 holes of the first Masters. This ticket is in good condition, with jet black printing and in a very similar condition to when it was issued for $1.10 only months after the inaugural Masters Tournament. It comes with the original string intact, with a very small crease through at the top point of the ticket that is only mentioned for accuracy purposes.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
