1934 Illustrated Current News - Robert T. Jones Sr. Awards Check to Horton Smith
March 30, 1934
This is a 19 1/4" x 12 3/4" framed copy of the Illustrated Current News from March 30, 1934. Robert Jones Sr is pictured handing a check to Horton Smith for $1500 after Smith beat Craig wood by one stroke to win the inaugural Masters Tournament. Jones Sr was the father of the co-founder of the tournament, Bobby Jones. Incredible item for any collection.
