1932 US Open Championship at Fresh Meadow Country Club Program - Gene Sarazen Winner
After completing the first two rounds, Gene Sarazen found himself 5 shots behind the leader. That didn't last long as he set numerous course records en route to his 2nd Major championship victory that month. a little over two weeks after claiming the Open Championship title at Prince's Golf Club. It was Gene's fifth of seven major titles in his career. Offered here is a difficult program to find from that tournament. There are horizontal creases from the binding as well as some on the bottom right corner. For its time and scarcity this program is in very good condition.letter of from PGA Historian Bob Denney will accompany this lot.
