1930's Bobby Jones Multi-Signed Original 11x14 Photo with Others
Bobby Jones on the heels of his 1930 Grand Slam slam success starred in instructional shorts in two series for Warner Bros., "How I Play Golf (12 films in 1931)and "How to Break 90 (6 films 1933)". As directed by the prolific George Marshall, the Bobby Jones shorts combine instruction with narrative to create a one-of-a-kind cine-sensation. Offered here is an oversized image black and white original photo from the Warner bros. set. It has been signed in vintage black steel-tip fountain pen by Oscar Bane (O.B.) Keeler who was the long time confidant biographer of Jones. He was the writer on several of the shorts and also served as announcer. Also appearing on this image shaking hands with Jones is Jack Warner (President and driving force behind the Warner Bros. Studio. Also of note with cap on standing next to Jones is the director Marshall. Five autographs appear on this image unknown, Keeler, Warner, Marshall and Jones. P.S.A. provides a full letter of authenticity on this large format photgraph which combines stark exclusivity of content with seldom seen combination of distinguished signers.
