1928 USGA Womens Amateur Contestant Badge

The 1928 US Womens Amateur was held at Homestead Country Club and was won by Glenna Collett. Contestant badges from the 20's and 30's are getting harder and harder to find. Condition of this badge is excellent with pin intact on the back.

This badge comes from the estate of Opal S. Hill, a two-time Western Amateur Champion and member of the first three US Curtis Cup Teams.

1 1/4" in diameter

The Golf Auction's Exclusive July Auction will end on July 20th, 2014 at 7:00pm EST with extended bidding to follow.
