1921 'Chick Evans' Golf Book' 1st Edition with 65 Illustrations
The Hall of Famer Chick Evans won both the 1916 US Open and US Amateur, a single year feat equaled only by Bobby Jones, thus becoming the topic of books and golf instructional records. Not wanting to lose his amateur status, he used the proceeds from these projects to form the Evans Caddy Scholarship program in 1929, with the first recipients of scholarships presented in 1930. Offered here for bidders is a first edition copy of his "Golf Book."
