1920 George Nicoll Precision Irons owned by David Scott Chisholm - Full Set
George Nicoll was a blacksmith by trade, and in the 1880's he started making hand forged irons. Well known golfers such as Henry Cotton, Brian Huggett, Dai Rees, and Vivien Saunders used his clubs. The Nicoll family distributed the clubs worldwide until 1982, owned now by St Andrews Golf Company. Here we have a 1920 set of Precision Nicoll irons that were owned by David Scott Chisholm, in great condition. David Scott Chisholm contributed to the game of golf in many ways, including founding the Los Angeles Open and the Left-handers Golf Association. Chisholm was born in Scotland and moved to the US in 1899, becoming a noted golf writer and announcer. The following clubs are included:
