1910 Streatham Golf Club Sterling Silver Monthly Medal Won by H. Oliver in Case - September
"This 1 ½ “diameter medal resides in its’ original case and was created by Vaughtons ltd Goldsmiths and Silversmiths in Birmingham. The front of the medal is engraved “Streatham Golf Club, monthly medal, (Junior) and bears the hallmark for Birmingham in 1909. The engraving on the rear of the medal “Sept., H. Oliver, 1910” is surrounded by a wreath and is also stamped “Vaughton Birm” on the bottom.
Streatham Golf Club was founded in 1892 and was located at Tooting Bec Common near London. Play ceased in 1947.
Nice large sterling medal relic of a Golf Club and course that no longer exists. "
